St.Josephs Lose Out In Faul Cup Final

St.Josephs Donaghmore’s bid to win the Faul Cup for the first time ended in defeat when they lost out in the final to S.Brigids Armagh on a 2-13 to 2-7 scoreline at the St.Pauls club in Lurgan on Tuesday evening. Caolan Mulgrew gave the Tyrone lads the perfect start with an early goal but their opponents fought back to lead by three at the break for an advantage that they were never to lose. Joseph McVeigh and Aidan Quinn had second half points for Donaghmore with the latter also grabbing a goal but their efforts proved to be in vain
