St.Ciarans Win In Markey Cup

Last season’s beaten finalists St.Ciarans Ballygawley had a good win in the Markey Cup on Tuesday afternoon when they got the better of Newry Tech on a 4-13 to 4-4 scoreline at Augher. Christopher Morris and Ryan McAnespie scored 1-4 each, Mark McConnell got a brace of goals while midfielder Ronan Nugent weighed in with a couple of points. Best on the day for the winners were Morris, Nugent, Niall Quinn and Nathan Breen.
